That's what I have heard plenty of in the last 10 days or so. I agree. On that rational, Rangers were one game behind Sellick, which tells me they are on a par. Other than opinions, (we play better football, and qoutes from big bubbly wain, Messi), do the hard facts stand up when applied to Rangers ?

Had Sellick been vastly superior to Rangers, surely they would have romped the league ? 3 points aint romping it.

Does the league table lie then, in terms of the gap between 1st and 2nd ?
Nice deflection, Thomas. Does not answer the question, though.

Ok i agree..the table doesnt lie,but Celtic won the league not on skill and entertainment..They won the league because we fcuked it up!...too many games in too short a space took their toll on Rangers at the end,no excuses..im just stateing facts.
Ive got to give Celtic some credit because they held their nerve at the end..good luck to them, but compared to last season,Rangers had a fantastic season..won 2 cups.UEFA cup final and only lost league on last day...HOLD YOUR HEADS UP HIGH RANGERS....We will be back stronger and better next season and i canny wait..im optimistic and excited...`Bring it on`

billy bhoy the biggest gap between 1st and 2nd mate is the automatic entry into the champions league ??

okay billy back for a second bite i have never claimed we were vastly superior(aye right) but as they say its a marathon not a sprint it was played over 38 games and Celtic ended up with the most points surely the argument ends there does not matter at the end of the day wether they played silky football or not at the end of the day as old brucie bhoy would say points make prizes

Another stupid question.Apply for the post-match interviewers job.The league table shows that Celtic gained three more points than their nearest rivals,so they won by three points.
You could also say that Rangers dropped three points more than Celtic,so they lost the league by three points.

When you take into account the injuries and suspensions in crucial matches Rangers coped remarkably well for a team of so called "pensioners" so wit does that say about the standard of football that celtic played

wasnt a great deal to choose from the top two.rangers fans believe they were hard done to in the end of season marathon, celtic fans could see it coming a mile away.2003 to 2008,roles reversed.it was good for the league it was so close.got to give great kudos to other teams like motherwell and aberdeen and dundee utd.big thing now is can rangers build on this season cos you know and i know there is going to be changes at ibrox.can they outbid and spend more than celtic who have banked the cl money already.rangers MUST qualify for the cl or it could be a long season
