Ok, so I am from England and should know more than I do about Football but I live in America now and no longer follow it as much as I used to. I am really looking forward to this, the last game that I went to was Glasgow Rangers Vs Celtics, 5 years ago and the energy was fantastic. This is the first match that I am going to with my husband and about 10 friends of a friend, we got these tickets last minute because someone dropped out.
Who do I watch out for, what number shirts do they wear, is this a friendly match, or is this an important game and what can I say during the game so that I don't look like an idiot! Thanks in advance.

Well, Argentina is a major power house soccer team (and by the way u are so lucky to be going) they have a lot of all star players, Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez ,and Riquelme to say a few. Argentina has won 2 world cups mexico has won none. Mexico has been a really good team but are in a bunch of trouble. They had a coach who though he was all cool and he didnt do so well and now he is fired and they are with a interim coach right now. They have a few good players Rafael Marquez, Omar Bravo and a few more. Most likey Argentina will win because thay just have a better team overall, Argentina will most likely be in light baby blue shirt and mexico will be in a green shirt. and this is a friendly match. the energy will be fantastic and it should be a great game. My thoughts are argentina will win 2-0.

Ok, as you know Argentina is one of the strongest national teams in the world. It is a friendly game for preparation for the World Cup qualifiers that will be played in mid June.
Argentina is trying to figure out the time that will play against Ecuador in Buenos Aires and against Brasil for the qualifiers.

This is the team that you will see tomorrow.
Roberto Abbondanzieri; Nicolás Burdisso, Martín Demichelis and Gabriel Heinze or Fabricio Coloccini; Javier Zanetti, Fernando Gago, Javier Mascherano and Maximiliano Rodríguez; Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero and Julio Cruz.

Roberto Abbondanzieri, goalkeeper, Getafe (Spain)
Nicolas Burdisso, defense, Intern (Italy)
Martin Demichelis, defense, Bayern Munich (Germany)
Gabriel Heinze, defense, Real Madrid (Spain)
Fabricio Coloccini, defense, Deportivo la Coruña (Spain)

Javier Zanetti, midfielder, Inter (Italy)
Fernando Gago, midfielder, Real Madrid
Javier Mascherano, midfielder, Liverpool
Maximiliano Rodriguez, midfielder, Atletico Madrid (Spain)

Forwards: Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Sergio Aguero (Atletico Madrid) and Julio Cruz (Inter)

Look for Messi and Aguero, young and fast players.

I don't know about the mexican national team, I'm not sure who will be playing.........
Good Luck.

Awesome game to be going to. Both Mexico and Argentina are western hemisphere powerhouses. Argentina right now is ranked #1 by the Fifa Rankings and Mexico is ranked #17, although I think they should be ranked a bit higher. Both teams have several players in Europe on high profile teams. The best players on Argentina that will be playing are probably Leo Messi, Sergio Aguero, Esteban Cambiasso, Gabriel Heinze, and Javier Zanetti. As for Mexico, the best players that will be playing are Andres Guardado, Carlos Salcido, and Carlos Vela.

This is a friendly match, but there will still be a lot of intensity.
