Question for celtic fans ? I loved him when he was the manager. He filled in again a few years back and his football was highly entertaining. His biggest problem was not winning when it counted, but perhaps that says more about how good Rangers where at the time rather than a reflection on his managements skills. He is one of the good guys and it is a real shame what he has been going through recently. I wouldn't count Strachan out though. He's unpopular amongst a bunch of fickle fans who will suddenly like him again if the league finishes in Celtic's favour. That's just embarrassing to me as a supporter.

Question for celtic fans ? Burns was unlucky to come up against a good gers team and in particular Goram. Definitley the best football I've seen since I had my season ticket but not enough trophies to award it. Hopefully tommy gets better. I've met him on a number of occassions, great guy, true legend. Don't worry chas, I'll get more thumbs down than you, disappointed if I don't get 5. Evidently truth hurts.

Question for celtic fans ? An interesting one, for sure. Tommy Burns did indeed have Sellick playing good football. Unfortunately for him, Rangers in those days were virtually unbeatable. And it speaks volumes for the mans ability that Walter Smith was more than happy to work with Tommy in the Scotland set-up. I have no doubt he would be a more popular manager than Strachan, given that he was a great servant to Sellick as a player into the bargain. But you could also argue that Strachan is more succesful in terms of trophies won and progress made in Europe. I sincerley hope that the guy makes a complete and permanent recovery from the illness he has now, for the second time. Then maybe we will find out !
