Messi is a great player. He stumbled onto Barcelona really. He started playing football at a very early age in Argentina, but moved to Barcelona, Spain to treat a hormone deficiency due to not being able to afford it in Argentina. (I don't know how they could in Spain0. Anyway, he took a chance at trying out Barcelona at age 13 and made it into the club system. Then he quickly made it to the Barcelona "B" team by the age of 13. That is unbelievable.
