Football Biases in the Media

I am starting to get the impression that this ENglish world we live in has given me an unrealistic impression on how good England is. Time and time again I think they will dominate, just to be disappoited. Perhaps it is time to accept that they just are not that good.

It isn't just the English media, nor just the English team, but you are right, the English team has been perpetually put on a very high pedistal just so they have a very long way to far when they are knocked down. Brazil had a similar fate this time around, even though the conditions were a little different.
