I will begin by stating what will become obvious, my love for African football and the emense pride I feel for the tremendous advancements made by our players the past 25 years. I can not wait for the World Cup to be played on African soil in 2010. It will be a day of victory, not only for Africans, but for humanity. South Africa is the perfect spot, advanced, enlightened, cosmopolitan. The nation represents the planet. Africans of all shades. Black Africans, Afrikanners (and other white Africans), south Asian African, Arab African, Berber Africans, etc... The continent represents the planet and no country more than South Africa. So I hope the world comes, as we shall be waiting to greet you and have a drink(S)!!!

t wait, but first, your neighbours to the north of Africa have this thing called the Euro to deal with.

African Dude, we are looking forwad to the big moth in South Africa. Hopefully when the time comes, we can all meet there. In the meantime, come to Europe for the Euro. These could be some awesome days.

Dude, we have to wake up at all heours to watch the WC and EURO. THe worst was WC 2002 in Japan/Korea. The games were in the middle of the night.

Hey guys, I'm back. I've been away. Now back to business. I think African football looks pretty good. Sometimes people overestimate it a bit, but I find overall, they are better technically than most give them, and they are athletic (which people do give credit for). These however, are not absolutes. Just like European and South AMerican players, there are players who are better technicians and those who are more athletic and of course the bless players who are both (unfortunately, some are neither from anywhwere). African players are entering this elite fraternity with the others (as are some Asian teams). From North Africa led by African campions Egypt to South Africa, there are some good things happening. People are especially impressed with West Africa and North Africa.
