Isn't it pretty much an automatic card...

....sometimes a red, when you take a man down from behind, going through
his ankles to try to get to the ball?

And after these two posts, you still claim that you are not bitter, sad
Arsenal fan with an axe to grind?

I would think you had enough trouble in your own team and their
lacluster performances, but apparently that is what drives you to obsess
about Liverpool.

Please, take your drivel to the club groups, dont pollute this group
with your repetitive ramblings.

Highly intelligent and well-informed people disagree on every political
issue. Therefore, intelligence and knowledge are useless for
making decisions, because if any of that stuff helped, then all the
smart people would have the same opinions. So use your "gut instinct"
to make voting choices. That is exactly like being clueless, but with
the added advantage that you'll feel as if your random vote preserved
democracy.

Where did I mention which game I'm watching, Jussi? Hmmmm?

You're trying way too hard to discount what I write out of hand without
actually offering much in the way of a counterargument.

Wanting to see fair play doesn't make me "bitter", and it doesn't mean I
have an axe to grind. It means I'd like to see fair play. Nothing
more, nothing less. Try to be less of an over-apologetic fool.

Gerrard on Kone, of course it was a red. No Liverpool fans are going

But it s gerrard, Liverpool...

Any players from Marseille or elsewhere would have done that same
tackle from behind, you would have seen players from Liverpool
surrounding the ref, the public crazy and it would have been a red for
sure.

A draw would be faire tonight but Liverpool is overall stronger over 6
games in the pool.

We dont get the game here, could you send a link to the incident? I
couldnt find any other references to a incident like that, but otoh I
only follow english media.

There have been references to penalty that should have been given to OM,
but was jugded to be outside the box.

Hey, we can't really be dumb, if we're just following God's Orders.
After all, He wrote this book here. And in the book he says: "He made
us all to be just like Him" so ... If we're dumb ... Then God is dumb
.... And maybe even a little ugly on the side!

I watched it online. Like I saud, Liverpool deserves to go through of
course,.
But the constant tiny bit of help from refs mesmerized at Anfield
brings a lack of consistency and after a while, is quite annoying and
frustrating. (ex, this last minute foul on Cheyrou 20 m from Reyna's
goal would have been a free kick at the other end for sure. That is
what is frustrating.

L OM derserved the draw tonight.

English media will never lay the blame at the feet of anyone on an
English team when they're playing a team from another country, whether
the English team is Liverpool, Arsenal, Wigan, etc. I wrote to 'You're
On Sky Sports' about this just a bit ago, actually... they won't read
it, of course. I am glad, at least, that the chief apologist Ray
Wilkins is no longer a pundit, now that he's at Chelski.

That was a very close one... it could have gone either way. The ball
was inside the line, the man... hard to say. I don't have a big problem
with a free kick there, nor would I have had a problem with a penalty.

Agree on all points. I don't understand why some Liverpool fans can't
see it, but it's quite obvious to... well, everyone else.

If I was a Liverpool fan, I think the undue help would really irritate
me; I can't stand watching my team get such help. Fair play trumps all.

But all good teams have that on their side, especially at home.

But apparently Liverpool pretty ordinary, especially in the second half.

I cant comment on this game, because I have not seen it.

But the Bolton incident has been discussed, and I have yet to see
compelling evidence that the goal should have stood.

The penalty in the Atletico game is debatable, it is clear that Gerrard
did get to the ball first, so it is not as clear a dive as people here
would like to say.

And Toure fouled Babel in the spring (which is the root of all your
ire), get over it.
