I do want to see more Greek kids (and other Euro countries) developed and not go the big club route of poaching players from around the world. If we develop our own, in the long run there will be way more success for the clubs and NT. Also, exchanges with different countries and not poaching is the way to go. The theft of talent from around the world is gettting ridiculous. What about their clubs and even more important, their NTs?

That's what I always support. That's why I am against the preference of average foreign players for the Greek clubs. Also that's why I am against the "globalist" football officials who want Castillo to play on their national team of Greece.

This way we could end up with most of the national teams leaving their own talents to obscurity and having naturalized South Americans in their main squad.

This can be only bad for world football. The football superpowers (Brazil...) will just develop more while the other countries (Greece...) will stop developing or will completely lack of talents.

Panathenian fan you make some good points. It would be silly to see it get out of hand... you're already seeing Brasilians playing for Croatia, Australia, Canada, Japan, Greece (Batista), Tunisia, Portugal etc etc.

In a lot of ways though, Castillo WAS developped in Greece. He came to Greece when he was 14 years old right? He learned a lot of soccer as a teenager...

Yea, I really love the teams that play true national players.

England is ok, but is getting worse sometimes.
