Live Streaming football on my TV . .?

I am looking at hooking up my PC to HDTV to watch live streaming footy from the net.















Just wondering if anyone has done this, & is the picture quality any better on the TV than on my PC monitor.















Oh, & as I am buying a new PC soon, is there a certain graphics card or something il need to get the best quality picture on my TV?!?!

I'd wait for HDTV broadcasts, as these are better than streamed tv off the net.































All of the streaming football I watch, shalln't define my team, but Liverpool FC are fantastic too, is patchy and nothing on the quality of mainstream analogue tv, most of the time.

Live sport over the internet is crap quality - the low video bitrate makes it blocky and jerky and not very easy to see it as it's fast-paced. When plugged into the TV, if anything it will look worse as the high definition of the TV will show up all the defects in the video streaming quality.
