how do i become a soccer coach for a jr high school@????

im a 20 year old college student who wants to coach soccer for jr high so bad but i cant figure out how like what qualifications do i need?? i was a volunteer coach for a local township for 3years and loved it thanks for your help

Make a resume with all qualifications that might help, then make an appointment when you give this to the office. When you meet the secretary, tell her you'd like to apply for a job. With any luck the princible willl meet you if it's a small school. Hope I helped.

im 20 also and i coach varsity football at our high school. it helps if you know somebody, but if you don't i would suggest going to the school and asking to meet with the current soccer coach and ask if you can help out.

check with your states "high school association" to see what the requirements are. Some states only require a teaching certificate, while others only require an American Sport Education Program certificate(ASEP). Some require both. You'll have to have one or both of these to even be a volunteer for a school. The ASEP is not hard to get. You have to go for a course for a day. Then you can take the test online or right there if you want. You have up to a year to take it. If you fail, you can take it again 5 min. later or until you pass. In some states you never have to take it again after passing. After that, you can apply wherever you want in that state.
