Pursuing a soccer career?

I am 16 and im play soccer for high school and a club team. What should i be concerned about if i wan't to play soccer in college or even further? I am a little on the skinny side, do coaches look for that, or just for talent? How hard is it to play college soccer? Any schools i should be looking for?

sorry it's a lot of questions, but any help is much appreciated.

it is very hard work if you want to make soocer a career.take it froma person that knows.concentrate on your skills and feet and they will do the talking and recruiting. just like any other dream you pursue....work hard at it and it will pay off, EAT,SLEEP, DRINK, DREAM soccer, football, futbol balonpie. stay VERY FOCUSED and TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN.always play with players better than you. and the moa important thing is to have as nuch fun as posible when u play. always correct an error and last but not least play with your heart and glory will come........

First off you need a clear mindset...no worries or distractions. You have to have the head to play soccer and I mean that you need your smart brain to play. You need to focus mainly on your dribbling, and shooting mainly. Don't be a ball hog!!! Coaches hate that in soccer! You are skinny? That's what you mean right? Well, isn't that a good thing...that means you are fit and most likely quick. They mainly look for your talent. They want a player who can make their club win and/or play much better. A leader or a role model would be a great example. Try to go to a famous college if you can. I am not that sure about colleges and that stuff but you need a college that can give the education as well as your soccer! =) I hope I helped and please have fun out there. Vote me for best answer if you can please...I need it! Thanks!
