Should I quit soccer????

Im in a soccer club team. my team is good and going through some really tough tournaments and league games. For the last few months i just had this horrible feeling of quitting. I get really nervous before games, im afraid of messing up, I hate playing real games. Im also getting very little playing time and the coach sais hes going to make cuts in our team and send us to the B team .My knee is also mest up I have osgood-schlatter and the pain hasn't gone away and its been like almost 5 months. what should i do??? Should i quit??
Im not even planning to be a professional soccer player. i want to be a engineer.

If your not having fun than what's the point? Play somewhere that is fun and makes you happy. You shouldn't be dreading an upcoming game, that's not the purpose of sport.

Sounds like you need some time off, not only to rest your knee, but also to forget about it for a while. You may be burnt out. Sometimes, too much pressure and expectation from coaches and parents can have the opposite effect of what's intended. Find something else, you'll know when you will miss it and will want to come back.

Idk it's your choice man, But give it more thinking.Well to not get nervous in games is by playing really aggressive and not think as much when you have the ball. Go to the docter for the pain because it's really serious if it's ur knee. Sounds like you can go far with this team , only if u don't think about messing up and keep calm. Good luck.

If you have no passion for the game QUIT
If you don't want to be a pro then QUIT
If you have no hope then QUIT
If you want to be an engineer then QUIT

But think first, YOU are in a soccer club team. The "A" team. imagine how lucky and fortunate you are. Many players aspire to be in your position. If you quit think of all that you're gonna lose.
There's no sense left if you don't have passion for the game. There's no sense in changing your mind anymore. We can't tell you what you should do about your life; we can only advise you. What's the use? Do whatever you want be an engineer!

Good Luck!

Football should be fun. When it is not fun for you, it could mean that your interest in football is close to an end. I think you should stop for the time being, recuperate your knee, than try coming back after a few months.

See if after sometime, your passion has been re-ignited. Football is not a game, it is a passion and love. Sometimes, being away from it for a while will just show you how important it is to you, and whether it is the one for you.
