Becks should never have been dropped from the squad in the first place. Whether or not he should have stayed in the team is a different matter. His form at the time was questionable however form is temporary, class is permanent!

He's a great player but his recall was a backward step.Doesn't say much for the manager,the young players coming through or the forward thinking policies of all concerned.

I dont think he is overated, he is a play maker, he might not score as many goals as some but he certainly chases the ball and works for it. He did lose some form a while back but i think he has got over that now and being back in an England shirt has certainly boosted his confidence.































I am certainly glad he is back in the team!!































In the last few England, who else has provided the long crosses and free kicks, i think he an asset and should be included in every England if he is on top of his game!!































Its not just about Beckham, the whole England squad need to gel better and become a team, they sometimes seam to play like they have never met each other before.....

Beckham can be overrated at times but in the game today that has so many free kicks, WHO is the best player from set pieces to advance the scoreline, His pin point accuracy is top draw and was proved again in his first match back for England. With the way the premier league is the fastest play in football I think that frightens opposition teams around the world where their only form of real defense is foul the class of English players that we have, and when this happens who do YOU want to be taking that all important free kick
