C. Ronaldo debate: move to Madrid or stay in Manchester?

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson:"the worst thing Ronaldo could do at the age of 23 is to go to Real Madrid. He is at the right club and a fantastic club and the future is that he has signed a five-year contract and has four years left. That's definite because I have seen his signature."

Michael Carrick urged Ronaldo to think again about his future after insisting United are on the going to win more trophies.

"The best thing I've done is to come here (from Spurs). For me it is a no-brainer." Carrick said.

But the Real Madrid players have different thoughts about the situation.

"Joining Madrid is the best thing that could happen to anyone," Says Raul, Real Madrid captain and legend "I have been here for 14 years and I wouldn't change anything."

Real Defenders Gabriel Heinze and Pepe are also known to be supportive of Real Madrids attempts to buy the player.

I support man utd, ronaldo is a great player and I'd like him to stay at man utd. but his attitude towards the club isn't too good so maybe they should let him go, show him he's not the boss. people said man utd would be crap without beckham when they sold him, they were wrong, they said the same again when van nistelrooy was let go, and again they were proved wrong, so whether he stays or goes I don't think it'll damage man utd's performance too much.

of course carrick would say that about man utd and the same with the real madrid players, afterall it's the team that pays their wages it's not like they'd say anything bad about their club, they want to get picked on the squad. don't bite the hand that feeds you and all.

Does he stay with Manchester, win some more titles, break some scoring records and retire in red, OR go to Real Madrid, make a lot more money, create a new dynasty, win championships there, and have all the hot spanish chicks he could ever want. Tough decision? I think so.
