i am american and wayne rooney is one of the best players to play the game. he is right up there with the best. he can kick a ball harder than you can ever imagine. so before you start putting down one of the greatest you might want to watch him for longer than 5 minutes and realize how he helps his team win games. they won the f.a. premier league now didnt they?

Rooney is an exceptional player! Im a gooner and saw him score against us when he was at everton. The problem is the media. They build a talent like him up and continue to knock him every chance they get, just like Gazza. Rooney is still learning his game, and we go on to be one of the greats. If he was brazilian we would not be answering this question. Im proud to have a talent like him in our national team.
