If anybody doubts Beckham played away I will only say that if I was that rich and famous, and I was innocent, and I'd been libelled in that manner my lawyer would be hand delivering a writ the day after the story was published. He's had three opportunities to do so that I'm aware of and nobody's gone to court or been forced to issue a retraction yet.
