i mean you hardly hear anything about them. And how would Real Madrid deal without him, a mean he is one off the best players on the team.

Best? Who knows. If he has no particular loyalty to the team he was playing for, I suppose he can demand the $$ he's going to get and LA does offer some benefits. I think it will be great for football (soccer) in America as he is an amazing player and may spice things up for the colonists = )

I think that it is a good move for him. He has been playing for quite awhile and is getting ready to retire. Going to LA gives him the opportunity to work on his David Beckham Academy and also makes his wife happy. Posh will get much more publicity and possibly give her a career boost in LA.

Also, David loves the USA. He wants to create more soccer fans here. His joining of the Galaxy will help build momentum.
