What will be the fate of Steve maclaren now that England is out of Euro 2008?

Changing coaches after every major defeat may not be the answer to the resurgence of English football. Is it a problem of the coach or the players themselves or the FA

McClaren got the sack and rightfully so.

With this crop of players that we currently have it is a crying shame how our FA continues to undermine the players and the fans ambitions by appointing substandard managers.

A team is nothing without a good manager.

Hiring McLaren was a big mistake. The FA should have brought someone new (from the outside). Instead they chose SGE's assistant and it lead to a huge disaster.

He'll prob end up as an assistant coach (like shevchenks said) or possibly head coach in another league.

Like him or hate him, at least he had balls to take risks. Those risks were crap (ie Becks fiasco), but he tried something.
