A Question for the People that are looking to the 2018 World Cup Already?

Fifa has anounced that a South American Country will be hosting the 2014 World Cup. All South American countries have already voted Brazil even though there has been no official meeting of this kind. With all of that wraped up, there are allready bids comming in for the 2018 Cup.

I know that this is still 12 more years away and the world can change in 12 years but where do you think that the 2018 World Cup will be?

China.... 2008 Olympics, 2004 Asian Cup (Football), 2010 Asian Games

I would personally like to see the WC in Australia in 2018, we have some of the best grounds in the world and die-hard sports fans...

I've heard rumours that NZ and AUS may try to bid for a combined hosting....

P.S. don't forget that Melbourne also hosted the '56 olympics and 06 Commonwealth Games!

yep stu22 is right and not to forget Comm Games in Brisbane in 1982. Our stadiums seating/capacity wise are enviable. Previous venues from Olympic and Commonwealth Games can be easily renovated and upgraded. Existing Stadiums are suitable. The people will be welcoming and we have already shown with these previous events that our security is on par with the best as is our ability to host world wide international events. It would be fantastic. 12 yrs may seem a long time away but the interest from kids with the performance of the Socceroo's has exploded and some of them, well who knows, may even be part of the squad. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I'm gonna say Brazil. After all the world cups they have won, they deserve to be the host sometime! I would love for the cup to be in south america..that would be awesome! I would go lol! The only reason I am not in Germany, is because I do not speak the language...or maybe Spain, since they have never hosted.
