Will Italian football come back again.?

It was only a few years ago when Serie A and La Liga were on top. Since the scandals Italian football has really begun to decline. It's not just the league but the standard of the Italian players has really decreased now aswell. From the Euro 2008 they only had two world class players in the form of Buffon and Pirlo. It was only last world cup when it was Nesta and Cannavaro in defense. Now there options are mainly Chielini, Matterazi and Barzagil, players who wouldn't get 1st team football at teams like Man City. I could go all the day about the strikers as well. I mean over the last few years over they have players like Vieri, Totti, Del Piero Inzaghi and so on. Anyway my rant is over.

Does anyone think anytime soon the league will return to its greatness?

Italian football is dead and buried, If they dont bring in new management and coaching styles and keep on playing univentive slow defensive football they will end up losing champions league places and they will start to decline into french or dutch leauge football standards and below.

They deserve everything they get for ruining the beautiful game, the only think beautiful about italian football is their conditioned hair.
