The official player of the tournoment picked by Uefa is Xavi hernandez.
but here are my favorites ,
goalkepper- Casillas
defender- Pepe
Midfield- Modric
forward - Villa

Xavi was the best player of Euro 08 but usually they choose one best from every position like best defender C.puyol and so on.

funny how some ppl say some other player deserved it, like maybe villa or torres. the thing is, those 2 guys werent even considered. xavi won over..get this...arshavin, turda, and boruc. no villa or torres. the selection group are technical guys whc means they rated performance a lot differently from how we fans see it.
