Group A:
Switzerland: The hosts usually do well, and they don't have a bad team.

Portugal: You can't really look past them! Ronaldo, Carvalho, Quaresma, Simao, Deco, Pepe, the list goes on...

Group B:
Germany: They have too much talent not to go through, like Portugal they are full of talent.

Austria: Again, the hosts usually do quite well.

Group C:
Holland: Maybe a shock to some, but they play good football and I think they will go through.

France: I think that they will just edge it over Italy. Both are excellent and anyone could go through from this group including Romania.

Group D:
Spain: They will go through, but I can't see them winning, as they would play someone from Group C in the 1/4 finals.

Russia: They have gotten much better recently, Arshavin is suspended for the first 2 games, but players like Pogrebnyak and Anyukov are very good and I think they will edge it over Sweden and Greece.

Indeed friend. Do not worry though, true lovers of the game know better. It is embarrassing to learn everything you know about football on places like ESPN or even the BBC and then regurgitate it as your own analysis. So few of them do their homework in advance.
