anelka and drogba partnership could be too much for many of the premiership defence to handle ..

Anelka is a different sort of striker though. he tends to drift in from the left side and runs at defenders with pace and with close control of the ball. not the like the old fashion target man of drogba who holds up ball, brings players into play and poach goals inside the box.

chelsea would be devastating once african cup of nations is over. avram grant could land himself in a three horse race with wenger and fergie. chelsea surprisingly are only 4 pts off the pace setters..

Thos could be really good for CHelsea, but I do not place any bets yet. I thought Sheva would destroy in the EPL and he hasn't. I know Anelka is proven, but I am still going to wait.

I have to agree with your last paragraph. Avram could end up in a serious horserace with the Gunners and the Devils for the League title. It could turn out ot be the best race in ages. I think Anelka is a proven striker in the EPL. Sheva, although a great player, hasn't shown his talents in that league. I am not certain why.

dont think that wenger would welcome back henry. wenger knowledge is beyond any manager in the transfer market. he would definitely bring in young talents with PACE. thats what arsenal is all about. I believe wenger would not sign players back to arsenal once they leave, because he always knows when the player has past their prime. vieira, petit, overmars are just a few example.
