Apparently, the only other one in the frame was Forgetful Ferdinand. There
was only one England captain candidate and that should have been Stevie
Gerard. The man leads by example. Can you imagine following the example of
Terry and Ferdinand? Our national team is fucking doomed.

Only an Italian coach would pick a whining ref abuser like Terry. He should
have been absolutely last choice. He is always chasing refs, pulling their
arms and complaining. He's a thug too...spitting and elbowing. A complete
disgrace and overrated as a player too.

Better options include Gerrard, Ferdinand, Beckham, David James, Lampard and
Barry...even Joe Cole has more caps than Terry.

Ferdinand has 50% more caps, two years older and he is a proven winner. Same
with Gerrard.
