First Deco, and now Robinho....I didn't see them talking about the
club. It's like they're all coming to play for Scolari, not for
Chelsea. Read the interviews. Nothing about how they're excited about
London or winning things. It's just about playing for Scolari,
hmmm....

Google Beta User used his keyboard to write :

Is this not the same thing as players leaving to want to play with
Mourinho at Inter. I am pretty sure that there are some players who
only joined Arsenal because Wenger is the manager.

Lots of players indeed. Like it or not - Arsenal has for years been
playing the best football on Earth and Arsene has been a magnet,
attracting young talents from everywhere. Hopefully our beautiful game
will bring some trophies this season. a

I thought it was a pretty fair comment. Most neutrals would graciously
concede that Arsenal are a wonderful team to watch play...

No doubt they are a wonderful team to watch - when on top form, but it's
sheer arrogance and fallacy to claim for years they have been playing the
best football on Earth.

Maybe. But on the balance of play, I can think of a team, other than my own,
naturally, that I'd rather watch play.

Don't forget, the last few years brought us Bergkamp, Henry, the current
team of 11 x 6"+ men who can run 100 yards in 10 seconds, jump ten feet in
the air and play attractive free flowing football, not to mention last years
Champion's Leagues finalists and the only team to ever go a Premier League
season undefeated. It's not a bad rap sheet...

Not bad at all.

Just nowhere near as impressive as United's.

Why do you see everything in terms of United?

You are SO insecure. You take everything as a threat to Manchester
United.

Not every football discussion is Manchester United vs. Somebody.

Player X is decent.
LD: Yeah, but United Player is better.

Cool! Ronaldinho might join City.
LD: Yeah, but he's past it. Not good enough for United.

Hmm. Team X is doing pretty well financially.
LD: Yeah, but United are the richest club in the world.

Team X plays some nice football.
LD: Yeah. But United play better.

etc etc etc.
