I know it's been a dissapointing year, but we have qualified sooner than we did last year, and spurs who are supposedly catching us, are further behind then last year ( can't figure out the logic in that one) so here's to next year, can't happen soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
What with a full squad baz and two world class strikers, your'd like to think so, your in a worst position then last year, is that what you call progress?
I agree with that this year baz, but I think that's the worst we'll ever be , the only way is up.

The side is young and very good. They need to kill sides off. Manchester United would have scored 10 against West Ham if they had 30 shots on goal. Arsenal lost. However the positive side of injuries is that the young players get more experience. Fabregas has really come on and Adebayor looks good. Van Persie was flying until hebroke his foot. Thierry Henry maybe 30 in August, but he has basically had a year off, so will hopefully be ready. The only advice I would give to Arsene, would be buy an English style centre half or two, someone in the John Terry mould, not skillful, but with a massive heart and desire, plus a great defender to boot. A goalkeeper like the chap from Hearts, Craig Gordon, or Ben Foster. Rotate them with Almunia and Lehmann to gain experience.
