Why do some users here can't except the fact that its only football not war or something! Honestly, even if SA were the best team on Earth I would have still been a Brazil fan. Is there anything wrong with NOT being a fan of your National team?

Hey don't worry i have tons of Argentinian friends who just hate the Brazillan Soccer team.. but they all know that Brasil is my favorite team... you cant step down to peer pressure... In the end my friends are still my friends. Though they still try to tell convince me, every now and then, that Argentina is better...

there's nothing wrong, but i too get mixed feelings because i'm from the USA and my father is from Uruguay and a big football fan, so i feel torn between the two. if i had to choose i would choose USA though just because it is MY country, but thats just the way i feel

Yes there is... What your doing is called frontrunning. You see your supposed to have a thing called nationalism that you feel for YOUR HOME COUNTRY. Not root for the former best team in the world.

it depends on why you like the team. if its just because brazil is one of the best teams in the world then yeah its a bad thing, but if you have a good reason for liking them theres absolutely nothing wrong with that
