Even with Beckham, Ronaldo and Zidane, where are Real Madrid going wrong?

Part of the problem is that the best players don't always make the best team, but that is not always the case. Part of it is that those particular players just aren't the best fit for the team and instead of finding the right players for the mix, they waste their money on buying more forwards. They had Ronaldo, Raul, Morientes at one point, then they went out and bought Michael Owen, and now Robinho. Now Morientes and Owen are gone, but you still have millions tied up in strikers. Then the midfield was aging and at times over rated. Beckham is a great player and one of my favorites, but he wasn't doing the job they payed him to do in the beginning. Then you have chemistry. For example, almost nearly every champions league game the commentators go on about how Guti and Beckham can't play in the same midfield...Cry me a river. Then to make matters worse in my opinion they brought in Luxemborgo, and I think his style of coaching and strategy was totally opposite of what the team needed.
