Is it true that Ronaldinho needs Barcelona more than Barcelona needs Ronaldinho?

I have noticed that Ron is at his best whenever he is playing with Barcelona but whenever he is playing with the Brasilian National Team he seems to be lacking the touch and his performance is mediore. So, is it Barcelona that seems know how to get the most out of Ronaldinho ? And how come he does not play to his level best with the Selecao ? Isn't it a bit contradictory ?

u are right!ronaldeno is too confusing and made me almost cry wit his performance in world cup but he is worlds best and has potential.i still think that he together with the entire brazilian team rocks and i will support them through thick and thin.i think barcelona needs ron... more because while playing 4 barcelona he performs great.

well first of all he gets a shit load more money playing at barcelona, but i think they reason he plays so lightly as of late for the national team is that these games are pointless, there just freindly's, like when they played kuwait he didnt do much, but why risk getting hurt for a meaningless game, i think he will play a bigger role against ecuador, since there a rival of Brasil, we have to show them who's boss....

Well, Ronaldinho is used to play in his position in the Barcelona team. And he knows his teammates well enough and the style of play. In the Brazilian national team, Ronaldinho is kinda positioned out of his position. Also, people expect too much of him when he plays for Brazil, so that puts a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
