Football fans think about this. Are we all tried of seeing horrible Asian teams (Iran and Saudi Arabia) qualify for the World Cup and getting their a**es kicked. Although we love seeing these teams getting their a**es kicked I have gotten tired of these teams constantly qualifying for the World Cup. I am looking at the European teams in the ECQ groups and I am seeing a lot of Asian teams (Israel, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan). If we moved these teams in the Asia group, we would actually have some real teams qualifying for the World Cup. The only reason Israel is in the Europe is because Iran and Saudi Arabia think riots are going to break out if they play each other (this is not true, they just know they will get their a**es kicked by Israel and they will not qualify for the World Cup). It is sad considering they are teams in the World Cup that have tied Belarus but they are not teams in the World Cup that have tied France, Switzerland, and Ukraine.

I totally think America is a waste to qualify for the WC,
Like yea its fun to watch these suckers loose,
but c'mon its a waste of time and they surly suck,

I don't agree at all... a lot of teams get their butts kicked. What's wrong with having teams from Asia? Although they don't win much, they still provide team skills and the player's talent.

I agree with Pinky... the U.S. also got their butts kicked during the WC 2006, not only once, but twice when the lost the matches with the Czech Republic and Ghana.

Israal, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Azerbaijan would get their a**es kicked. Im assuming youre a Jew who is very pissed off that some Muslim countries qualifed for the WC an Isreal did not. Isreal would not qualify for the WC whether or not they are in Asia, Africa, Ocenia, Europe or whatever continent

Some of them yes. Togo? Where's Togo? But every once in awhile you get a team that surprises everybody and shakes up the whole table, like the US making the quarterfinals of the WC in 2002. It just makes it fair to give everyone a shot. Yes, I would rather see England play Ireland rather than I would like to see the Ivory Coast play Saudi Arabia, but you know, It's always fun to cheer for the underdogs every once in awhile, right?

So what you really want is Israel placed in a group among teams you feel they can defeat to earn an easy passage through. Interesting, but I disagree. Selective grouping is not what the tournament is based around. It is the WORLD cup and there to assist and promote the growth of the sport on a global basis. To deprive nations of the process and opportunities to qualify and possibly progress is against all it stands for. This tournament offers lesser known countries and players the opportunities to compete at the highest level, which in turn gives the talent they have the chance to be seen, to improve and gain experience, attract class coaches and managers etc. There are some class players amid the teams you criticise. Isreal has the same opportunities through the process of qualification as everyone else does. Who we play in these rounds is pot luck. You don't pick and chose who you can play and beat, then we would surely have worse teams making it through. The fact they constantly qualify as you stated is indicative of the fact that have played well enough to do so. In the end there is 32 places and those tough enough to endure the road earn their right to play. They will be different every 4 yrs. The concept that no Asian teams other than those you mention have any talent or ability is not all that insightful. I'm not at all putiing these teams down, but if they are good enough they will progress as all other nations have to do through qualifications..Just my opinion, thanks for the question and I'm out of here again.

Fatto: That is what Euro is for. The WC isn't meant to be Europeanised or South Americanised. There is no exclusivity in the word World..lol
