So are you asking us if these Asia teams should not be allowed to compete because they are not as good?

If so, my answer is no. I think anyone who is good enough to qualify and compete against other teams should be able to do so.

i agree, but if those weak teams are out of the WC so should the USA. but still, only european sides would make the WC much more competitive.

no way. show some more respect to the other countries they did what they did in order to qualify so they deserve to be in there.

It might make sense to shuffle the groups a little bit. I think every WC has its huge dissapointments - don't forget about France in 02, didn't even score a goal - and darlings - Ivory Coast - so its a good thing to allow the Saudi Arabia's of the world to qualify.

Taking a slot from Asia might make sense - but Africa is also a candidate to pick it up, not just Europe.

I think the only reason Isreal doesn't play against arab teams is because the arab countries tend to blow people up, and then blame the zionists and 'great satan' for lighting the fuze.

excuse me, im asian, and personally i think korea and japan were good.

i totally abolutel agree with Pinky, before asian teams go out, usa should go out first, because its so obvious that the country in general don't CARE about soccr.
but it WAS qutie fun watching their games...
