They will need a hand. No disrespect to the South Africans, but poverty, crime and violence plagues the country.

Only with the help of FIFA or whoever. They just don't have the resources to do it.

Sadly, I too think we willneed help in the end. SA social woes are a burden that would stagger any nation, but in the end, through the efforts of the Africans and Europeans, it will be a great success. Most of the effort will be Arican, make no mistake about that.

Lets help them if they need it, but I think they'll pull it off. I have to have the faith they will and if ther is help, it will be working with the South Africans, not for them. That is a big differnce.

I voted yes. SA will be ready. I think FIFA will ensure that they're ready no matter what. But that might mean FIFA will need to help a bit or maybe a lot.

I think having the World Cup in Africa is huge for global football. Hopefully it will help develop footy in Africa even more.
