Winter Tranfers

Looks like there's a good chance Sorrentino will leave. Most likely he will return to Italy with Genoa (Serie B).

His wife is having trouble adjusting to Greek life and is really pressuring him to return to Italy.

I guess the GIANT culture shock moving from Italy to Greece really rattled her. The societies, weather, culture, etc are so different. Poor woman.

Anyway hopefully AEK will get a boatload of cash in return.

It will be tough for him to go from being in the CL to being in 2nd division in Italy.

On the other hand we are looking at aquiring some good young talent:

-Markovski, the 21 year old defender and captain of Wardar Skopje (FYROM)

-Serginho, Portuguese attacking-mid playing in Virren Bulgaria

We also might get 33 year old goaltender Scarpi from Genoa in the Sorrentino deal.

Yes not big names so far but the club is still growing and getting stronger financially.

Hahahaha!!! So true killer. What the hell is this idiot woman saying. If she doesn't want to be there, at least have the decency to tell the truth. Unbelievable. As for going to Serie B, thems the breaks. Who said relationships didn't have sacrifices, problem is, you would hope it was for an honest woman.

What the hell does AEK want with a SKop. Sorry guys, theese clowns are highjacking our history and culture. Fuck them. I'm sure he's a good guy as an individual, but I couldn't deal with bringing in Skops unless they stop being revisionists. I hear OLY is doing the same thing.

Apparently AEK is chasing a 23 year old midfielder from Boca Juniors (Argentina). His name is Mondaini and apparently there are a few other teams chasing him as well.

I personally would love to see another forward added.

Tony Savevski is a Skop and he was one of AEK's best players in the 90s.

But I do see your point, their politics is total propaganda and bullshit.

AEK is getting offers from Spanish 2nd Division teams for Delibasic.

He's been a dissapointment so far it would be nice to see him go somewhere else and rebuild his form with a smaller club.

AEK are after Spiropoulos from Panionios. He's a quick, 23 year old right back with experience with the (junior) Greek national team.

Italy is the only European country which is so close to Greece in all the sectors you mentioned. The ones who move from Scandinavia or whatever to Greece, what must they say then..
