AEK signing Basinas?

AEK is in talks with Greece captain Angelos Basinas in hopes of signing him in the January transfer window. Also, they are aggressively pursuing Iraklis' youngster Papadopoulos. Both players are defensive midfielders.

Both would help the squad since Nsaliwa and Zikos have both been dissapointing.

I think you are right Killer. We need these guys. Basinnas is a proven vet, who is keen to hone his game for the upcoming Euro. The youngster I know nothing about, but teams need a balance of vets and youth. I hope Demi can sign them both.

Six months later and AEK are still looking at Basinas...
I hope Demi signs him... or better yet, Katsouranis.
