Manchester United vs/ AC Milan UEFA Champions League?

Well, fellow man u fans......
i was looking at the milan squad that arrived in manchester. very, very formidable squad. superb players. a bit on the old side but great nevertheless.

kalac might play ahead of injured dida - that's one thing in our favour. but the rest of the defence looks EXTREMELY solid - nesta, maldini, cafu, serginho etc. - our speed and ball movement on the counter attack will be critical.
MF: ambrosini, kaka, pirlo, seedorf, gattuso etc. - great lineup
FW: gilardino, inzaghi, oliveira - great also

it's going to be tough defending for us with our injury problems....

we're going to be in for ONE HELL OF A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL!!!!!
what are your views on the teams and the game....

Last year Man U were unlucky to win but now I think there will be no problem as Alex Fergie has prepared something very special. That's why his team couldn't make the most of their last match against Middlesboro.I think the italiens must be very afraid to face the Red Devils as they must have seen how A.S Roma was humilliated by Man U. Like you have said our attacks can be very dangerous for them to withstand because our players like Ronaldo and Roney who posses great speed.Last time Man U lost to Milan but now history will be made.Man U will be VICTORIOUS!!!!!!

LOL..I love your take on Kalac..even as an Aussie he makes me tremble with nerves...I won't complain if he plays in Dida's place, but you are spot on. It was never going to be a stroll in the park taking on Milan. We have an extremely weakened defense going into the final rounds and our makeshift defense will have to be 100% focused 110% of the match. They have a very experienced defensive line up. It won't be easy to penetrate that, however with good play from the midfield there will be opportunities to open gaps for our strikers to find and when they do, it's imperative that they capitalize and find the back of the net. Our counter attack will have to be quick, which it is. We will have to be ready to do it at every opportunity. So many times when we have been depleted and written off they have come out and shown that they are very capable of finding that inner strength and determination and I don't see this time being any different. Of course it would be better to have the 2 sides play each other with a fully fit compliment of players, however that's not the case and we have to trust SAF has made the best adjustments possible. And never underestimate the power of OT and the passion the Theatre of Dreams instills in the boys. They can only do their best. Hopefully with such a weakened line up it will be sufficient to hold on.

Firstly I am really happy to have finally found a sensible Man U fan who is actually interested in seeing the team win rather than indulging in ridiculous arrogance. No offence, but I have seen enough of the Yahoo answers to know such over the top Man U fans exist in abundance.
Secondly I should admit that I am a Milan fan but I certainly agree with you that it is going to be a very interesting semi-final with two very good teams. Both teams have talented players and I am eagerly waiting to see them come up against each other.I won't predict the score but I certainly think it is going to be close.
To some of the other answerers, ever thought of visiting a psychiatrist? You are in urgent need of some therapy because you seem to have completely lost the power of logical reasoning.
May the Best Team win!!!

Wow.
Tomorrow's match is going to be SUPERB. I cannot wait!
AC Milan has a very very strong side, that I must say. Strong, formidable side.. really, great team. I mean, wow.. great team.
And we're definitely running out of players, our defense is just dying with all the injuries.. ugh.
I really really have faith though. No arrogance is in this United fan! I am very scared for us tomorrow... I really really hope we can pull through with a great victory like last time. I hope we play excellent football, and really secure a win.

Oh man, I am so gonna be praying tonight! People going to this match are LUCKY!
