| Fear not my little gutter-flower, Highbury is not getting torn down.
In answer to you first question (I cannot find the village on arsenal.com) I received some direct mail (I'm an Arsenal member) a month or so ago with Reyes inviting me to buy an apartment in a golfing complex in Spain that he had bought an apartment in - so that is probably the village.
As for Highbury, they can't tear it down because the East and West Stands are both Grade II protected buildings (Art Deco architecture). They are turning the whole ground into posh residential apartments, with gardens where the pitch used to be).
I used to live 150 yds from the ground, and wish I could afford to buy one of those apartments - Arsenal tube is damn handy if you work in London. |
