| Can someone explain how soccer player contracts/transfer fees/wages are worked out?
In American football, a player gets a salary a year. Same with soccer players. But transfer fees? I never heard of a team paying another team for a transfer? Does it work with or against the salary cap? Is it like a commodity? Why do some contract signings state the transfer fee and not the salary while others state the salary and not the transfer fee. Totally confused here. |
