| First of all Whitecap (which I imaigine is what your old arse looks like on top) try and spell acronyms properly, it is NASL, not Nasl, and tell people who were not in the Jurassic era what it stands for. The North American Soccer League was a Mickey Mouse pasture for old goats waiting to be shot. Ironically, the artificial turf they played on sped up the process tremendously. As for the Whitecaps winning the EPL, hahahaha, nice try. Sure they had many players in the EPL at the time palying on loan, but the North American player rule killed them. DO you think Bobby Lenarduzzi and Buzz Parsons could run with the boys in England. Lenaduzzi tried over there and failed. THen he came here and has plagued Canadian soccer ever since. As for the Cosmos, they were full of stars for suire, but again, do you know what a soccers players prime years are? Let me tell you, it wasn't the Cosmos players.
