| the 13th edition of UEFA European Championship finals will be staged in AUSTRIA & SWITZERLAND from 07 June 2008 to 29 June 2008. qualifications for the finals will begin on 16 August 2006 with 50 teams from all over Europe will compete to secure 14 places in the finals. The preliminary qualifying group has already been decided in January 2006.
