In a uefa cup qualification match, Karagounis takes the free kick and Papadopoulos scores a nice goal, the second one of the three, in the home victory against Artmedia Petrzalka, in Athens (stadium Apostolos Nikolaidis).
After a 2-1 victory in the first leg Panathinaikos had a clear advantage going into today's return leg at home. The Greek giants started in confident fashion, dominating posession and attacking with intent. However facing a stubborn Artmedia defence, Panathinaikos found it diffcult to find the final ball to create a open chance to score.
But all that changed in the closing minutes of the first half, when local hero Dimitris Papadopoulos managed to take advantage of both goal-scoring attempts he came across to give a two-goal lead to the Athenian side.
