| I have been wondering this for years now and only recently have people picked up on it. He is THE most overrated player of all time, but we must admit its not his fault.
Its probably more down to the fact that the english press need to build people up to knock them down again.
The very fact he is english and playing with superstars is another reason - england are way behind the top international sides so we try and make gods out of our average footballers.
How he gets in the england side is beyond me, perhaps now that Hargreaves is fit we may see a change. If only Gerrard was not brilliant everywhere you we play him.
Lampard although a good footballer is not half as good as he is made out to be. |
