| No simply because they don't have the midfield depth of some of the European teams. Dempsey and Beasley are bench players on their respective club teams. Also the USA team will run into the same problem of undersized forwards running into big physical defenders. I admit their recent form has been very good (not counting the copa America since most of their best players aren't playing) but they are a long way from becoming an international powerhouse. |
