| What is the benefit of listing a home in different the MLS in California if the home is not in that city? I'm doing research for someone who is trying to figure out why it makes sense to list a home in the MLS for a different city or county when the home is not in that location. For example, a home in San Francisco would be listed in the Oakland MLS. If the person was looking for a home in SF, wouldn't they just go to the SF MLS? If there was a home listed in the Oakland MLS I would expect that home to be located in the city of Oakland. Can someone explain this to me? |
