| I think attendances will keep falling! The main reason is the high cost of seats, to pay the players the obscene amounts which keep going up and up. The goose is slowly being strangled, and pretty soon the golden eggs are going to stop.
That, coupled with the competing pass-times available, will see sports being largely watched on TV, computers, portable media players and even phones. Only the diehards will keep going, because so many don't have a life apart from the weekly or fortnightly game! |
