UEFA Cup Group G leaders Panathinaikos were thrashed by PSG at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris earlier tonight. Doubles by Portuguese international Pauleta and Ivorian international Kalou gave PSG the much needed win to advance to the next round of the UEFA Cup.

Panathinaikos were nonexistent after the break and conceded three goals in the span of eight minutes. The Greeks still finished on top of Group G as Hapoel Tel Aviv and Mlada Boleslav drew 1-1.

Pauleta 29' - Portuguese international Pauleta finds the top-corner of the net from a Bonaventure Kalou pass from the left.

Pauleta 47' - Just two minutes after the re-start PSG double their advantage and once again Pauleta is the man on the scoresheet, collecting a pass from the right by Cristian Rodriguez and finding the bottom-left corner with his right foot.

Kalou 52' - Kalou makes it 3-0 and PSG are well on their way to a place in the last-32 now. The Ivorian headed low into the centre of the goal from close range after meeting a left-wing cross from David Hellebuyck.

Kalou 54' - Kalou finds the net again and an incredible start to the second half has now seen them score three times in a matter of seven minutes. This time he sends a right-footed shot low into the net from Rodriguez's left-wing cross.
