| Have any feminists here read non-feminist books like those by Warren Farrell? Just curious, because none of the books listed by feminists here are non-feminist:

If one isn't going to read or listen to what the opposing group has to say, how is one supposed to develop an open mind.
It's not like I refrain from any Manchester United or Arsenal matches just because I support Chelsea. I watch them because they play good football, regardless of whether they're my team's rivals or not.
DO feminists here do the same?
I meant to say I watch United and Arsenal play too because I enjoy watching them. Rivalry is secondary.
LIkewise, do feminists read and absorb what non-feminists have to say? Or do they just carry on advertising feminism wondering why on earth there was an opposing group?
Untamed Rose, I was just curious if feminists read that stuff and not just what they wanted to follow. No need to take it that seriously. I didn't ask anyone to revere non-feminist books and follow them. |
