Would you prefer the World Cup to be played each 2 years or each 4 years?

as well as the Euro.

The Euro can be played on 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, ...
The WCs can be played on 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, ...

So that each year we can watch a big competition, a WC or a Euro, while changing the way that nations' teams qualify for the WC and the Euro.

Also, would this diminish the importance of the Champions League?

.
@Sasan, I didn't say WC every year. Having WC and Euro played every 2 years, with WC played at a year and then the next year being for Euro and then WC and so on, will result that we have an important competition every year.

@Fresh Prince Euro is a smaller version of WC. Another thing, what applies to the Euro can apply to other competitions. If you prefer Copa America, you would have Copa America or WC every year, if you prefer Euro, you would have Euro or WC every year. (I mean where the team you support participate).

@ al, i said the way teams qualify should be changed which means that less matches would be played.
@ carlo_rossi

1) Assume that the number of matches for qualifying from Europe is divided by 2 (approximately). (for both competitions, WC and Euro).
At a year when the world cup is played and as a 4-year competition would have the same number of matches as a year when the world cup is played as a 2-year competition. The same thing applies for Euro.
What I mean, is that qualifying would not be the same as it is now.

2) Is not a problem at all, the host country would know before several years that it will be hosting the competition. There would be no difference.
